Direct-contracting model delivers $0-cost care options for families and greater financial predictability for employers with access to Northside Health’s 4,000-provider network.

ATLANTA – January 5, 2026 – Nomi Health, a national leader in direct-contracting healthcare solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with Northside Health, which will enable self-insured employers in the region to offer high-quality care with fewer cost barriers for families and more sustainable operations for providers. Under the agreement, Northside Health’s network will join Nomi Health’s direct provider network to deliver streamlined care and more cost-efficient coverage for employers.

Participating Georgia employers will be able to offer their teams access to Northside Health’s extensive care network that includes five acute-care hospitals, more than 300 outpatient facilities, and over 4,000 providers across 25 counties. Through Nomi Health’s direct-contracting model, employees and their dependents can receive primary, specialty, and virtual care with $0 deductibles, $0 copays, and no surprise bills, which brings new levels of affordability and transparency to the region.

Employers and families face mounting pressure in today’s healthcare environment. Annual premiums for employer-sponsored family coverage rose 6% in 2025, reaching an average of nearly $27,000, while workers’ wages grew only 4% over the same period. Cost-sharing obligations are also rising: the average annual deductible for workers in plans with a deductible is about $1,886, and 34% of covered workers now face general-annual deductibles of $2,000 or more. Meanwhile, employers anticipate increasing cost trends of 8-9% in 2026, which create imbalances that are unsustainable for many employers.

Nomi Health’s direct-contracting model offers employers a more affordable and transparent alternative to traditional insurance arrangements,  greater control over healthcare spending, and expanded access to high-quality care for employees and their families. Through the partnership, employees will be able to use Northside Health’s broad network with simpler, more predictable benefits, while employers gain a clearer and more stable way to support that access. Northside Health also benefits from Nomi Health’s modern network infrastructure, including faster payment cycles, clearer reimbursement pathways, and reduced administrative burden that allows clinicians to stay focused on patient care.

The Nomi Health direct-contracting platform connects thousands of healthcare organizations nationwide and embeds analytics, payment solutions, and care-coordination workflows that support stronger provider operations. Direct contracting is increasingly recognized as a viable pathway to lower costs, higher quality and improved access across the country. Nomi Health’s national footprint and technology platform enable scalable deployment of direct-contracting models, supporting employer-sponsored benefits reform and regional access for families.

“Across the country, families are paying more for healthcare than ever before, while employers and providers struggle inside a system that was never built for affordability,” said Mark Newman, CEO and Co-Founder of Nomi Health. “Our partnership with Northside Health shows what’s possible when we cut out unnecessary layers and allow dollars to flow directly between employers and high-quality care. It brings lower costs for businesses, more predictable access for families, and a more sustainable operating model for local health systems.”
